Local Firefighter Launches Apparel Line to Honor Fallen Heroes
Fire and Fuel Apparel is committed to providing apparel, hats and other merchandise for the firefighting community. A portion of all sales proceeds will be donated to fallen heroes and their families.
Online, October 22, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Local firefighter, Jerry Lund, is launching a new apparel line on October 28, 2013. His vision for Fire and Fuel Apparel is to bring off duty apparel, logos and merchandise to the firefighting community. The company's mission is to honor the "real heroes without capes."
Lund began his 23 year career as a volunteer firefighter and EMT at Lehi City fire department and currently serves as a Captain of a combination fire department in Saratoga Springs.
He talked about his lifelong dream of becoming a firefighter when he recently said, "As a young boy, my best friend was a mentally challenged boy who was often visited by the local firemen. I saw these men as heroes and this ignited my fire. I knew that I wanted to grow up and make a difference."
A portion of all Fire and Fuel Apparel sales proceeds will be donated to fallen heroes and their families. The product line includes; hats, t-shirts, hoodies, blankets and golf accessories. Lund expressed his vision for Fire and Fuel Apparel when he stated, "Fire and Fuel Apparel is committed to honoring the real heroes without capes. My vision was to start a company that brings together the messages of these heroes and heroines and provides an avenue to give back to the community.
